en - The idea behind the - About a Chair - collection has been to develop a chair with conspicuous simplicity. A chair which works just as well around the dining table as around a conference table, in a canteen or at the office. The ambition of designer Hee Welling has been to reach a higher level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics. About a chair is the product of close collaboration between Hee Welling and HAY aspiring to create a family of chairs where all shells and frames can be combined - but without letting the perfection in each single model lose ground to diversity.

de - Die Motivation für diesen Stuhl war der Wunsch nach prägnanter Schlichtheit. Er sollte sich am Esstisch sowie am Konferenztisch, in der Kantine wie auch im Büro, jeweils ebenso gut machen und dies, wiederum, als Nutzmöbelstück und als Design-Objekt zugleich. Sein Designer Hee Welling hat mit "About a Chair" eine höhere Synthese von Form, Funktion, Komfort, Detail und Ästhetik entworfen. Der About A Chair AAC25 wird mit weichen Rollen geliefert.
